Bach+Glenn Gould=Bliss!

Glenn Gould plays Bach

Heavenly vs earthly favourites!

On the one hand, the absolute beauty, serenity and joy. Harmony, happiness, perfection - angels' music...
J.S.Bach, Sheep May Safely Graze (from Cantata No 208)

On the other, singing of man's destiny on earth: beauty along with ugliness, happiness along with suffering. Passion, disgrace, remorses, despair, longing, fear, hope...
Nina Simone's version of Dylan's "Just Like Tom Thumb's Blues"
